TV WORLD: TAKE IT BACK TUESDAYS- "The Lyricist Lounge Show"

For today's Take it Back Tuesday, I am influenced by my own memories.

Back when MTV actually focused on music, they were cranking out good shows, like "The Lyricist Lounge Show." The whole premise of the show is sketch comedy set to a beat. Many famous artists stopped by the show to participate in the scenes including Erykah Badu, Cee-Lo, Common, and Snoop Dogg.
It was actually funny AND had decent lyricists. I couldn't find THAT many scenes on YouTube, so I snatched a few of my favorites.









Ahh... good television. And these mofos were talented.
